You know how those women on “Sex and the City” are always hanging out together to eat, shop, discuss their lives, and laugh? Where do they get the time? Beats the heck out of us, but this custom tour, booked by a group of women who all wanted a getaway where they could forget - even if it was just for five minutes - about all their responsibilities, might be the answer.

We laughed all day long!

We also waded in the creek, lounged around on picnic blankets for lunch, visited farmer’s market, and braved the abandoned railroad tunnel. Some relaxing yoga and massage closed out the day on just the right note.

One rider put it best: “I felt freedom like I haven’t felt since I was a kid.” It doesn’t get any better than that. Join us!

What a relief the cool temperatures were for our August Wool Tour! The route was beautiful, the food was fantastic, the company excellent. Penns Valley’s restorative countryside boasts tall corn and lush soybeans this time of year, and undulating roads wind through it all. Jere started us off in style at Inn on the Sky, chef Bobbie Dash provided a delicious lunch, Mary Kay welcomed us at Cooke Tavern, Jan at Tamarack Farm was ever gracious, and we were happy to stop and shop with Molly at the quirky Knitter’s Underground. Yoga with Amy left us all relaxed and smiling: a great day! 

Scenic ride 6 was fantastic! We gathered afterward for snacks, some cooling off in the creek, and goodbyes. Thank you all, weekly riders, for constantly reminding us that women of all ages are interesting, inspiring, fun, and beautiful. We’re richer for knowing each other and look forward to riding with you again. 

The wine and cheese was fabu, Brit’s talk about shorts and saddles was great, and the company was fantastic! Our aim is to inform women on topics from grips to brake adjustments, so stay tuned for the next date and time - we’re planning to make these gatherings a regular thing.
